Distance Contract

The Seller, offering goods in this online store (hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”), on the one hand, and the person placing the order (hereinafter referred to as the “Buyer”), on the other hand, conclude the following Contract:

Obligations of the Seller

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer’s order.

Making a Purchase

The prices and specifications of the goods sold in the online store are indicated next to each product. To place an order, add the desired products to the shopping cart, fill in all required fields, and choose a delivery method. The total cost of the order, including delivery, will then be displayed on the screen. The Buyer must complete payment to finalize the order.

Right of Withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the moment of receiving the goods, by sending a withdrawal notice to the Seller. The withdrawal form will be sent to the Buyer by email upon request.

The Buyer must return the goods to the Seller within 7 days after sending the withdrawal notice. All return costs are borne by the Buyer.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if: the goods, by their nature, cannot be returned, are perishable, or are consumable; the goods were made according to the Buyer’s individual order.

According to the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia (Article 12, paragraph 6), the Buyer is responsible for preserving the quality and safety of the goods during the withdrawal period. The Seller reserves the right to refuse withdrawal or withhold compensation if the goods are damaged, negligently used, the original packaging is missing, or the packaging is significantly damaged.

User Data Security

World of Women has taken all necessary measures to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent unauthorized access by third parties.

During the visit and use of the World of Women store, World of Women may receive information containing personal data: 1.1. directly obtained personal data (name, surname, phone number, and email address); 1.2. indirectly obtained information (for example, by using cookies and other technical means to monitor the use of World of Women).

World of Women processes customers’ personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law and other relevant laws of the Republic of Latvia regulating the processing and protection of personal data. When processing and storing customers’ personal data, World of Women uses organizational and technical measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful disclosure, alteration, or any other unlawful processing.

By purchasing goods and services offered in the World of Women online store, the customer agrees and authorizes World of Women to register, enter, store, systematize, use, and otherwise process their personal data.

The customer’s personal data, as well as any data subsequently provided by the customer to the seller, will be processed to the extent necessary and for the following purposes: 4.1. processing data arising from World of Women customer orders, contractual obligations, or processing necessary to conclude the relevant contract (transaction); 4.2. data necessary for customer identification and accounting; 4.3. data required to send commercial notifications (email and/or SMS); 4.4. data needed to fulfill other obligations arising from contractual agreements or transactions; 4.5. data needed to review the customer’s application for installment purchase.

World of Women ensures the protection and security of customers’ personal data and does not disclose it to third parties, except as required by the Personal Data Protection Law and other relevant laws of the Republic of Latvia, or to the seller’s partners providing delivery, financing, and service for the goods purchased through the online store, to the extent necessary for fulfilling contractual obligations.

Customers have the right to request that their personal data be supplemented or corrected, as well as to stop processing or delete their data if the data is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or no longer necessary for the purposes of collection. Customers can request to modify or delete their data by informing World of Women accordingly.

Upon written request, customers have the right to receive information about: 6.1. what data about the customer has been obtained, the source of data, and when the information was changed (if allowed by law); 6.2. the purpose of personal data processing and information about data recipients; 6.3. whether the data has been processed automatically.

Customers’ personal data will be stored no longer than required by law. Customers may request deletion of their data at any time.
